A Grammy Award-winning singer who has sold more than 30 million albums willl replace Christina Aguilera — who is pregnant — as a judge on the seventh season of the NBC hit "The Voice," reports TMZ.

The story says that Gwen Stefani is the replacement.

The TMZ article reports: "Multiple sources connected to the show tell us … No Doubt's lead singer will be on Season 7 … which starts taping in June. Producers started looking for new blood in February after Christina announced she was pregnant. Makes sense … she'd be 8 or 9 months along by the time [the season's] battle rounds began."

The story adds that Aguilera is already scheduled to return to the show the following season, which would be Season 8.

TMZ reported that NBC would not comment on the story.
