Former President Bill Clinton will appear on USA Network in connection with an Oscar-winning movie. The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed reports that Clinton will introduce the broadcast of “Philadelphia,” the 1993 Oscar winner that starred Tom Hanks as a gay attorney suffering from AIDS.

Clinton will introduce the movie before it airs Saturday, June 21, at 7 p.m. ET, in honor of Pride Month and National HIV Testing Day.

In the film, Hanks’ character is fired due to his medical condition, and he hires homophobic attorney Joe Miller, played by Denzel Washington, to take on his wrongful dismissal case. The story notes that “Philadelphia” was one of the first major Hollywood movies to take on AIDS and homophobia.

Hanks won the Oscar for best actor for "Philadelphia," and the Bruce Springsteen song "Streets of Philadelphia" won best original song.
