The creator of a children's cartoon series has left the network amid accusations of sexual assault. Deadline.com reports that Skyler Page, the creator of Cartoon Network’s “Clarence,” is off the show.
Page allegedly groped a female artist, the story says. Cartoon Network confirmed that Page “is no longer an employee at Cartoon Network Studios.”
“The accusations gradually came to light over Twitter last week when friends of Emily Partridge, a storyboard artist on Cartoon Network show ‘Adventure Time,’ called Page out for the alleged assault. Partridge began tweeting about the incident without naming Page, before finally identifying him as her alleged attacker on Wednesday,” the story notes.
Partridge wrote on Twitter that the alleged assault “happened to me, you can stop hounding my friends for ‘proof.’” She also wrote that she had reported the issue to Cartoon Network’s HR department.
