Canada’s Global Grabs ‘Doctors’
Global Television, a Canwest Broadcasting network, has landed exclusive Canadian broadcast rights to CBS Television Distribution’s upcoming daytime series “The Doctors.”
The show will feature a team of practicing professionals in various fields who will address important topics, myths, and questions about health. “The Doctors” is a spinoff from “Dr. Phil,” with its team of doctors appearing on “Dr. Phil” throughout the current season.
“We’re absolutely thrilled with our latest addition of ‘The Doctors’ to Global’s daytime roster,” said Barbara Williams, executive vice president of content for Canwest Broadcasting. “As a spinoff from the hugely successful ‘Dr. Phil,’ this series has an incredible pedigree.”
CBS Television Distribution is distributing “The Doctors” in the U.S. and selling it at NATPE for a fall launch. International rights are handled by CBS Paramount International Television.

This is exciting and very needed. I am very interested in your show as a possible doctor who practices anti-aging medicine. You can find me at www.expertclick.com under experts. I am also a medical expert for CNN and the Nancy Grace show.
Thanks.
