Planet Green Invites Bergeron to ‘Supper’

Planet Green, Discovery Communications’ new environmentally oriented network, has signed Tom Bergeron as host for one of its first original series.

In the weekly series, “Supper Club,” Mr. Bergeron will host Hollywood dinner parties at the eco-friendly Venice, Calif., home of Universal Studios president Ron Meyer and his wife, Kelly, an environmental activist. Guests will discuss news and events in the green movement.

The series is set to start production in March.

Andy Friendly, last year named a production and development consultant to Planet Green, will executive produce the series. He previously hired Mr. Bergeron as a host of “Hollywood Squares” and “ABC’s Countdown to the Emmys.”

“Supper Club” is produced by Andy Friendly Productions in association with Discovery Studios.

Great, a network devoted to spewing Green propaganda.

The question is will Discovery devote any balance whatsoever to any of this?

Given their record to date (and the record of nets like TWC, I doubt it.)

Given that you can't go more than 5 seconds on their website without running into the word "TREEHUGGER", I'm going to guess no.

(This is the network that will replace Discovery Home.)

This sounds like a show that is a no-miss. It's time to wake up the poor, uninformed and shallow people who behave as if nothing is wrong with the planet. Perhaps they can invite scientists as well.

What a release to determine a post that possibly will be present finally actually value reading! I’ve been in search of all-around regarding this topic but men and women just put trash posts, or brief worthless article. I have experienced a couple vids on youtube but it’s now the same as reading a good article.
