Weather Channel Media Solutions Taps Raleigh
Christopher Raleigh has been named senior vice president and general sales manager of the Weather Channel Media Solutions. Mr. Raleigh’s responsibilities will include all facets of network ad revenue generation and management of network field sales offices.
“Chris’ experience is perfect for our company,” said TWC Media Solutions Executive VP Paul Iaffaldano in a statement Wednesday. “He has solid network experience from his six years at NBC and exceptional online/interactive skills from his three years at GSN. We are very pleased that he will be joining our team.”
Mr. Raleigh comes to the Weather Channel from GSN, where he was senior vice president of advertising sales. Before that, he spent several years in sales at the NBC Television Network.
The Weather Channel, a national cable network available in more than 96 million households, recently launched HD programming and has developed an extensive Web presence on Weather.com.
