For Your Imagination Gets Funding

Online video studio For Your Imagination has landed $1 million in seed capital from ConsensusOne Ventures, the companies announced today.

The money will help fund FYI’s day-to-day operations as it continues to seek a series A round of funding, FYI said.

FYI produces Web series such as “DadLabs” and “Break a Leg.” The company competes with other Web video studios and producers including Next New Networks, ON Networks and Revision3, all of which are venture backed.

ConsensusOne Ventures also invested $1 million in For Your Imagination in January 2007.
