Video: Daisy Whitney Gets Inside YouTube HQ

Is YouTube's advertising business misunderstood? TVWeek writer Daisy Whitney gained exclusive access to YouTube HQ and scored an interview with Jordan Hoffner, director of content partnerships, who voiced frustration at the misperception that the world's biggest video-sharing site wants to monetize dogs on skateboards. Not in the least, Mr. Hoffner explains. YouTube's advertising play is all about content partners who are pre-approved for advertising. What if an ad ends up with inappropriate video? Mr. Hoffner explains that make goods are an option. Sounds kind of like your father's TV advertising business, eh? Watch Daisy's latest "New Media Minute" for the full interview.
