Begley Series Moving to Planet Green

“Living With Ed,” an eco-friendly series starring actor and environmentalist Ed Begley Jr., will move from HGTV to Discovery Communications’ Planet Green when the new network launches June 4.

“[Mr. Begley] is a veteran of green living and a passionate advocate for the environment,” Planet Green President and General Manager Eileen O’Neill said. “‘Living With Ed’ gives viewers a candid look at what it’s like to live in an eco-friendly way every day with great information and a heavy dose of fun.”

Discovery’s Planet Green, a 24-hour eco-lifestyle channel, is expected to reach 50 million homes when it debuts.

HGTV is owned by the E.W. Scripps Co.
