The head of programming and production at TV One, Rose Catherine Pinkney, has left the network to return to Los Angeles to pursue other business interests, the network said Monday.
Ms. Pinkney, who had been executive VP of programming and production, is being replaced on an acting basis by Jeff Meier, senior VP of programming strategy and acquisitions.
Under Ms. Pinkney, TV One began introducing original entertainment.
“Rose Catherine has worked tirelessly on behalf of TV One for the past two and a half years, and we thank her for her contributions to the network in a critical phase of its growth,” said TV One President-CEO Johnathan Rodgers.
“I am proud of what my team and I have accomplished over the past two years and confident that the groundwork we have laid will help make TV One an even bigger success in the years to come,” Ms. Pinkney said in a statement. “Yet, on a personal basis, I am very happy to be moving back to the West Coast.”
