Showtime Gets ‘Inside the NFL’

Showtime and CBS Sports are teaming up to bring the NFL studio show “Inside the NFL” to the cable network.

“Inside,” produced by CBS Sports and NFL Films, is set for a Sept. 10 premiere on Showtime, where it will air each Wednesday until February. The one-hour program, which debuted in 1977, recaps the week’s match-ups and previews upcoming games.

“We're thrilled to be joining the successful partnership of CBS Sports and the NFL in presenting the show to our subscribers,” said Matthew Blank, CEO of Showtime Networks, in a statement Tuesday. “It's a perfect fit with our original scripted series and sports programming.”

The networks plan to announce the talent lineup for the show in the coming weeks.
