Warner Horizon Television (WHTV) has tapped Brooke Karzen as its senior vice president of alternative programming.
Ms. Karzen will be responsible for the development and production of WHTV’s unscripted programming for broadcast and cable networks.
She will work closely with current WHTV show producers Mike Fleiss, Randy Jackson and Joel Gallen, in addition to finding new talent and potential program material.
“Brooke is an outstanding executive, with an incredible energy and passion for television, and terrific relationships with the creative community. She has been integral to the success of many of our reality franchises, and we are thrilled to have her in charge of all of our alternative programming efforts,” Craig Erwich, executive VP for WHTV, said in a statement.
Ms. Karzen has been with the Warner Horizon for eight years, before which she served as VP of programming for Telepictures Productions and as VP of development for Buena Vista Television.
She has also worked for Mike Fleiss’ Next Entertainment and Dick Clark Productions.
