Seriously 2009 I am going crazy waiting already and Now its not untill 2009. Well I can't wait. But I love the show. Great work and would make a great reality checker for teens.

I am literally addicted to this show. I can't believe it's taking so long to come out with a second season. They couldn't have picked better actors for this show. This show is the best show I have ever seen on TV. It's a good thing it's on AMC otherwise I think it would be lame...lame...lame!!!!

I have been waiting a long time to see more episodes. I didn't even know that episode 7 was the end of season 1. They just started showing reruns. 2009 is a long time to wait. This is by far the best show on television and I'll be buying season 1 as soon as it hits blue-ray. I am scared to hear that Cranston will direct the second-season premier, though. Everything about the show is so good. Why tinker with it? I hope he doesn't ruin the movie-like cinemaphotography. That is one of the best things about the show.

I've just been lucky enough to watch six (6) episodes in two days here at Showtime productions, but was crushed & burned to discover that we can only expect seven (7) in season 1!! It was set for nine (9) but the goddamn 2007/2008 writers strike messed it up. Couldn't they have shot the remaining episodes this year? Now we are waiting six (6) months for season 2! Might this result in a loss of audience? Maybe, but I'll be tuning in soon as.

This is a bit ridiculous! I can't believe they only gave us 7 episodes and then make us wait so long to start season 2. What happened to seasons beginning in the fall like they used to. And didn't seasons used to have way more episodes than 13 (the scheduled amount for season 2)? We will have been waiting plenty longer than 6 months, more like 8+ months!!!

BEST SHOW OF ALL TIME!!!!! ENOUGH SAID!!!!!!! YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT WAITING. YOU KNOW WHAT ANYTHING THAT GOOD IS WORTH THE WAIT.

I'm just glad there is a season 2. 2009? Ack! I wish they'd make up for the short season of season 1 and make 27 episodes. At least give us some Making of... webshows of what their filming now.

ugh I hate that we have to waite till '09, that blows. This is the one show me and the hubby both enjoy. And with such a long waite it better be just as kick a** as season one. Oh well, I'm still a huge fan and will be egarly waiting in front of the TV the night it finally airs... just like all of you!!

This show depicts the meth trade in a perfect light. The money to be made is alluring, yet it also show how devastating drug can be. This show is pretty REAL... AMC hit a home run here, can't wait for season two!!

2009, seriously? Why not film one episode at a time and release them as you go along? Even a new episode every two weeks would be better than waiting until "early" 2009, whenever that will be.... Breaking bad and Weeds go hand and hand but in the end, Weeds trumps bb anyday. Ill hump mary louise parker anyday. thats what bb needs. a hot tweeker girl.

It is truly a fantastic show. All the actors are the best but more importantly the writers have made it so so good. I am eagerly waiting for it to start so bad.

So I just saw it anounced on the Web that Breaking Bad's Season 2 premier will air on AMC @8:00PM (Central) on 11/26/08 for the first 6 episodes then a short 4-week break until the remaining 7 episodes finish.

IT'S SIMPLY AWESOME THIS IS HAPPENING BEFORE THE 2009 DATE.

I have been WAITING for season two. This is by far the smartest and best show on TV period. I would pay $10 to see this in a movie theater once a week. C'mon, start airing the 2nd season already and this time dont leave us hanging so long. If your TV show was too hard to follow or began to suck like LOST did, you would never be able to regain your audience. Good thing this show rocks so hard.

I can't wait for the premiere of season 2 either! This is the best show on TV right now. I read the message about the writers strike being to blame for 2 or 3 missing episodes from season 1 and it makes me mad. lol I am a union supporter though so I support the.....grudgingly.

I know that 8 months is a long time to wait, but does NO ONE watch WEEDS? That show waits forever during seasons and still kicks ass and has a huge following. I think Breaking Bad is even better than WEEDS and will be fine with a long break ... My husband and I are just as eager for season 2 as the rest of you ... Patience is a virtue.

My mom talked me into watching Breaking Bad. She was so totally hooked on the show. Now because it took so long she won't beable to see season 2 for she has died of lung cancer on Oct 6th. 2008. I'm sure she will be watching from above. I hope walter don't go as fast as my mom did!!!!

Ok so I haven't seen the show yet, but I anticipate watching it now due to the fact that they just completed filming right next door to my moms house! hi,I'm in england,and I read with amusement someone's suggestion to film one episode at a time then air each one (so we don't have to wait til 09 to see the 2nd series)
It doesn't work like that. Scenes from several episodes may be shot in the same location, so they might film all those scenes, then move onto another location and film scenes there etc. Also, stuff like weather, lighting etc is important...so basically, the whole series has to be shot,then edited, continuity checked, bla bla.....and THEN they want everyone to be gaggin for the start of the series to make sure we watch...
Having said that I think they should make more episodes for the next series then not give the actors a break at all, like make the 3rd series whilst airing the 2nd, so the 3rd one is almost ready by the time the 2nd series ends, so we don't have to wait!

I am from Albuquerque and that is the only reason I started watching the show (for the cinematics what not) but I love this show and I am so excited we are getting a second season. I dont care when just as long as we get a second season and I am good.

For those of you crying that Season 1 was only 7 episodes...it was because of the writer's strike. The same reason that 24 didn't even air last year. Patience, great shows coming back on air in January!!

It surprised me that I never heard anything about the show when it finished last year. It is sooo good, I wish more young people were watching it to see the problems of drugs and what all they entail.

I think Brian Cranston is an amazing actor (and everyone else on the show is to) and i am not worried at all about him directing, he has so much expierence in tv, and im sure he learned a lot along the way. I cant wait for season two. they better keep this show, i love it and already have season one on dvd. I used to do a quite a lot of christal,shards,puta,is all the same(so i just crack up when jesse freaks out about mormons turning into bikers,u cant help it, and they way everything else is so real, from jesse and badger "thanks for the toke", to every single sceen. Its all totally how real life is, and i hope that that stays the same in season two. Somethings going down(it has to) and its going to be awesome
