NBC Entertainment's Adam Stotsky
Mr. Stotsky has been named president of NBC Entertainment marketing, and will oversee promotion of the network’s prime time, late night and daytime schedules. He will report to John Miller, president of the NBC Agency and chief marketing officer for NBC Universal.
“Adam is extremely bright and has repeatedly demonstrated that he has exceptional savvy in promoting and marketing a wide range of high-concept content at Sci Fi,” Mr. Miller said. “His work in brand strategy for Sci Fi has been especially impressive, and we look forward to him bringing that expertise to the marketing of NBC Entertainment.”
Mr. Stotsky had been executive VP for global brand strategy and market development at Sci Fi. He has worked on a number of notable campaigns for the company, including those for “Battlestar Galactica” and “Taken,” and helped expand the cable network’s brand globally and into other businesses.
Before joining Sci Fi in 2001, Mr. Stotsky was senior vice president for the entertainment practice of J. Walter Thompson Worldwide, working on a joint venture between the ad giant and Brillstein-Grey Entertainment. Before that, he was head of consumer marketing for Travel Channel.
Currently based in New York, Mr. Stotsky will relocate to Burbank to take on the new job.
