Sony Pictures TV’s “Wheel of Fortune” is celebrating its 26th season with a visit to Hawaii, a meeting with Shamu and a tribute to the Armed Forces.
The top-rated syndicated game show kicks off its new season on Sept. 8 with the addition of a million-dollar wedge that will give some lucky contestants a chance to win $1 million.
“Wheel” will tape four weeks of shows each at the Hilton Waikoloa Village in Hawaii and at Sea World in Orlando, Fla. Also scheduled are several themed weeks, including “Best Friends Week,” “Canada Week” and “Armed Forces Week,” featuring men and women serving in the military.
“Wheel of Fortune” draws more than 47 million viewers each week and has been the top-ranked syndicated show for 97 consecutive sweeps seasons. The show is distributed domestically by CBS Television Distribution.

Canada Week? That's interesting. Probably something to do with the move to CBC Television this fall.

You may as well throw a whale star in there. Taku or Kalina will do good with that. They're always on cue.
