CBS Orders 11th Season of 'Big Brother'
"Big Brother" will be back next summer.
Just days after wrapping a successful 10th season, CBS has confirmed that its long-running reality soap opera has been renewed for an 11th cycle. The news was announced to "Brother" staffers Thursday night at the show's wrap party in Studio City, Calif.
The renewal doesn't come as much of a surprise, given "Brother's" solid performance this summer. Airing three times per week, the show regularly delivered CBS's best ratings of the night with its Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday broadcasts. Its finale attracted nearly 8 million viewers, down from last summer's swansong but up compared with the show's 2008 spring finale.
While CBS has traditionally aired "Brother" once a year, during the summer, the network launched an in-season edition of the show earlier this year as a way of filling programming gaps caused by the writers' strike.
Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan are the executive producers of "Brother," which is produced in association with Endemol USA.

I am so looking forward to the 11th season. I would also like to see a few more older people on the show. Less sex and more game planning. I know there has to be some sexy stuff but I love the way they are always strategicaly planning their moves. Thanks for another season of big brother.

I agree, we need more older people like Renny's age bracket, she was a hoot, didn't care for her in the beginning, thought she was strange, but she grows on ya like a pimple, lol
All these younger HG thinks about is Sex and booze, and showing off their silcone bodies.
And couples actually having sex on TV, like Ollie, April, and that other bimbo Chelsia and that jerk she slept with, this should not be allowed on this show, there are very young kids that watches BB, BB is not a porn show and porn should not be allowed on BB for any reason!
Can't hardly wait for BB11 anxious to see what kind of group of HG we get this time.

I agree that the older age people are there to play a good game and the best one wins. I do not like the sex part of the show or the naked skin. That is for the young and they do not even watch it as much as the older people.The tricks are fine as well. The tempers do fly off but that is exciting as well

It about's time we get something good on TV reruns have run out and nothing on TV is interesting at all. They don't know how to make TV shows any more and my niece's and nephew have been asking if there is going to be another one. They will be happy to hear something to watch on TV again. They should make a fall and spring version so there is always something on TV.

I can understand and agree with Chima being evicted. I remember several seasons ago when a man was evicted for swinging a knife. What I don't understand is why Dick, Danyelles father was given so much leadway. He physically poured a beverage on someone's head and constantly made degrading and hurtful remarks. So is it only when the producers are offended or disrespected is when actions are taken? Or is it when someone's life is threatened? I don't understand the rules.
