What... Swingtown is considered a "Long Shot" where did that information come from? CBS is making a huge mistake if they don't renew Swingtown!!

CBS is making a HUGE mistake if they don't renew SWINGTOWN!! They can switch to Friday..like they did..but those of us who genuinely like and enjoy the show are just going to watch it on Friday. I know that's what I did because, although i am not an avid TV watcher, this was one of the few shows that was worth turning on the TV for. It has such a no-nonsense good feeling about it. Non of this "reality" bs that they must be searching hard for. Those shows are pathetic!!
Bring back a show that just gives the people who enjoy it something to tune into.

I agree with harmony! CBS is making a huge mistake! My hubbie and I hardly watch tv and Swingtown was one of the few shows we watched and really looked forward to. It's not because of the topic necessarily, but the character development, how they cover all aspects of age and what life experiences were about growing up then. They do a wonderful job depicting the 70's and it is just a very well done show. Not to mention the story line kept us hooked every week! We would hate losing this show.

huh... well... swingtown was NOT on last week...
i watched, waiting for it to come on... but it didn't !!!! i guess its really not on anymore ! what a huge disappointment !!!! just when i was beginning to really get into the story line of the show... they go and cancel it ! sheesh!!
its no different than the show " train 48 " that was cancelled from global. but even that show, which was made in toronto, canada.... a canadian sow lasted way longer than swingtown !!!
i'm not sure how many ppl watched train 48... but i did, and was upset that they cancelled it.
now here again... swingtown too.

Flashpoint is complete crap. It's a cop version of "The Unit," except without decent storylines and likeable characters. Let's kit out some cops and have them completely take over whatever's going on. "Oh no! The Joker's attacked Gotham! Call the Special Response Unit!" "Help I'm innocent but I can't get a fair trial! Call the Special Response Unit!" "Help my toilet's clogged! Call the Special Response Unit!" I especially loved how they're always lugging around their submachine guns, even while they're nestled inside their super-secure command centers. Guess you should always be prepared...
This show gets 2 thumbs way down for beig completely unrealistic and completely cliche. great Job CBS...Good thing you're still running CSI.

Andy just because you got aids watching swingtown doesn't mean you have to dis Flashpoint. They only take over certain situations where they are needed to intervene- i.e. hostage situations. They aren't busting drugs or tracking down rapists, that's CSI's job, yet you don't complain about them doing the same thing every week. ITS THEIR JOB YOU MORON, THEY DO THE SAME THING EVERY SINGLE DAY. Sorry to resort to yelling, but sometimes it's the only way to get through a thick head.

At least there is action and intensity and perhaps you haven't watched, but the characters are quite deep. But with all the swinging and what not you probably don't have time to assess things like relationships. Well have a great day, hope your syphilis doesn't act up too bad.

Ok I liked Falshpoint as well! Swingtown is full of crap and very stupid!! CBS will only be making a mistake if they dont bring Flashpoint back!
