Fox Sports Net and World Poker Tour Enterprises are teaming up for a new poker tournament series based on the popular online poker site ClubWPT.com.
“ClubWPT.com” will give online players a chance to compete against other poker amateurs from the U.S. and Canada. Six players will be chosen to participate each week after a series of online qualifying matchups through ClubWPT.com.
The TV show debuts Sunday at 4 p.m., with encore presentations at 11 p.m. Qualifying online matches will be held six nights per week at 10 p.m. ET on the official Web site.
“Poker is the only sport that allows the everyday Joe to go up against the professionals and win life-changing money and celebrity status,” said WPT founder and President Steve Lipscomb in a statement. “ClubWPT.com gives you the opportunity—six nights a week, in your own home—to win a seat on national television and the chance to live the dream.”
Alison Waite will serve as host, with commentary provided by Barry Tompkins and Bart Hansen. The show will tape in Los Angeles.

You cannot imagine how difficult it has been for me to sign up for CLUB WPT. There was a mistake on my signup application. Since then it has been a nightmare. Your site makes it impossible to proceed beyond an error. Example-- I was told there was a mistake concerning my first name. I could not return to that page to make the correction. I decided to continue. When I tried to login I got a message there was an internal error. I was instructed to go to customer support. PROBLEM, When I clicked on the icon, there was only a BONG!!! And I was kicked off. I then sent an e-mail. They asked me to get the Ref. # and go to customer support. That did not help in the least. I could only search!!!
May I suggest, you do not have a good communication system. I signed in under LantanaRay
My Name is Clyde Minix. Can you help me signup?

I don't think there is a Mac option. They just tell you to run Boot Camp. (LOL!) VERY ghetto. These guys need to step up to the plate and offer a Mac version like the rest of the major players.
