ABC Pulls 'Opportunity Knocks' From Schedule

ABC has pulled its prime-time reality game show “Opportunity Knocks” from its schedule, according to a source at the network who asked not to be named.

The network will air special “Dancing With the Stars” recap episode next Tuesday, Oct. 21 in “Opportunity’s” 8 p.m. time slot.

The series, from executive producer Ashton Kutcher, has aired three episodes to low ratings, drawing a 1.3 rating/4 share among viewers 18-49 for the last episode on Oct. 14.

The network source said the show is not officially canceled and ABC plans on airing the remaining six episodes “somewhere,” either in another time slot or a different time of year. ABC cites the competitive Tuesday 8 p.m. time slot as a reason for the pull.
