Dan obviously did not get his tickets in time. Who wants to blame the economy for ruining a celebration of tennis of this magnitude anyway. I am an avid tennis fan and this is just the thing to make me forget about the state of the economic crisis, even if for only one night. Hope Ana takes it out by the way, she's great.

Hi ..what an outstanding way to kick off the Tennis in America campaign..I bought tickets very early to be sure to get the best courtside seats..but just learned about the vip event prior to the matches where Billie Jean King and Ivan Lendl will be making appearances...how can i get tickets to get into this....

I agree with Dan. However, I will still watch it to be honest. That's fine that these four players make millions from other sources, but perhaps this event should give part of their earnings to NYC communities/programs in need of some financial assistance. Just a thought. At least people that are buying these expensive tickets will feel like they are contributing to their community and not just these already filthy rich and well established athletes.
