CW Orders 5 More Episodes of ‘Privileged’
The CW has given a thumbs-up to its first-year drama “Privileged.”
The network on Wednesday ordered five more episodes of the soapy hour, bringing the show’s overall episodic order to 18. While not the same as a full-season, 22-episode order, the greenlight indicates The CW is happy with the show’s creative direction.
Airing Tuesdays at 9 after “90210,” “Privileged” has been a decent ratings performer for The CW. Last night’s episode earned a 1.7 rating among female teens, tying the series’ best numbers in that demographic.
“Privileged” is based on the book “How to Teach Filthy Rich Girls” by Zoey Dean (“The A-List”). The series is from Alloy Entertainment in association with Warner Bros. Television and CBS Paramount Network Television.
