Larry King Films Guest Shot on ‘30 Rock’

CNN host Larry King is the latest celebrity to land a guest turn on NBC's "30 Rock."

Mr. King has quietly filmed an appearance on NBC's Tina Fey comedy, a person familiar with the casting confirmed. He plays himself in a scene opposite series star Tracy Morgan.

The episode was shot on the set of Mr. King's CNN talk show.

There's no airdate for the episode yet, though late January or early February seems most likely.

"Rock" has been a magnet for celebrities this season, with Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Aniston and Steve Martin among the famous faces stopping by the Emmy-winning show.

Mr. King is no stranger to showbiz. His most recent TV acting gigs include "Ugly Betty" and "The Closer."
