NBC News Develops Facebook Application

NBC News has launched a social media application for Facebook.

“What’s Your iCue?” is a video trivia game built from NBC News’ archives, as developed by its educational arm NBC Learn.

Users can play in real-time against friends or in teams. A sponsored match-up between two institutions, locations or companies will be featured weekly.

The application, which is available at www.whatsyouricue.com, also can be used to watch full-length NBC News videos, which can be shared with friends and posted on Facebook.

Lexus has signed on as an exclusive advertising partner for the application’s launch.
