Twentieth Television will host a memorial service Nov. 21 for executive Matthew Rodriguez, who died Nov. 14 in Los Angeles of cancer.
The service for the Twentieth TV and MyNetworkTV senior vice president of marketing and creative will be held at 11 a.m. at the Zanuck Theater on the Fox Studios lot. RSVPs should be sent to RSVP@20thTV.com by noon on Nov. 20.
In lieu of flowers, Mr. Rodriguez’s family requests donations in his name be sent to Downtown Dog Rescue ().
“Matthew lived life to the fullest and he will be greatly missed by one and all. He was an outstanding talent who truly brought joy and laughter to everyone that he met. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family,” said Bob Cook, president-chief operating officer, Twentieth TV.
Rodriguez, who joined Twentieth TV in 1994, was responsible for overseeing all consumer and corporate marketing and promotional activities for the distributor’s library of first-run and off-network programs. He also managed all marketing activities for MyNet, where he oversaw all marketing initiatives for the network’s 2006 launch and, most recently, the network’s “WWE Smack Down.”
