CW Slates '13—Fear Is Real' in Winter Lineup
The CW has finally settled on a premiere date for “13—Fear Is Real,” its horror-themed reality series from “Spider-Man” czar Sam Raimi.
“Fear” will air Wednesdays at 8 p.m. starting Jan. 6, a person familiar with the network’s plans said. It will spell “America’s Next Top Model,” which is currently in between cycles.
The scheduling also puts “Fear” directly opposite Fox’s “American Idol.” Viewers without DVRs will also be able to catch a weekly encore broadcast of “Fear” Fridays at 9 p.m.
In addition to Mr. Raimi, “Fear” is executive produced by Jay Bienstock (“The Apprentice”) and Rob Tapert (“The Grudge”).
Most of The CW’s winter schedule will remain the same as its fall lineup.
“Gossip Girl” and “One Tree Hill” remain paired on Monday nights, with new episodes returning Jan. 5. “Privileged” and “90210” stay on Tuesdays and return to originals on Jan. 6. Starting March 17, "Privileged," which will have ended its season, will be replaced by "Reaper."
The CW will replace 9 p.m. Wednesday reality series “Stylista” with repeats of “90210” beginning Jan. 7. The network employed a similar strategy in the fall.
As for Thursdays, “Smallville” and “Supernatural” return with original episodes on Jan. 15. Friday comedies “Everybody Hates Chris” and “The Game” begin their winter seasons Jan. 9.

According to Ausiello at EW.com, Reaper will be taking Privileged's slot on Tuesdays, after that show finishes its 18 episode season. Supernatural will remain on Thursdays.

Thanks for the catch, Sophy. That was a typo. We've fixed.
