Bob Barker to Make Cameo Appearance on 'Price'

Bob Barker, come on down! You're the next guest star on "The Price Is Right"!

The legendary emcee, who hosted "Price" for 35 years before stepping down in 2007, will return to CBS Television City Wednesday to tape a guest appearance on the show.

Mr. Barker's appearance is part of the promotional tour for "Priceless Memories," his new autobiography.

CBS plans to air Mr. Barker's "Price" guest spot on April 16.

Wednesday's visit to Studio 33, now known as the Bob Barker Studio, marks the first time Mr. Barker has appeared on the daytime version of "Price" since he retired from the show.

"Price" now is hosted by Drew Carey. The show has been experimenting with having celebrities drop by every once in a while in order to help introduce a prize. Reba McEntire and members of the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Los Angeles Kings have taped cameos on the show in recent months.

FremantleMedia North America produces "Price."
