Shed Media US Adds Executives
Shed Media US (“Real Housewives of New York”) has beefed up its executive ranks, hiring five new staffers in its development department.
Among the additions:
—Alchemy TV’s Burrad Marsh has been named VP of scripted development.
—Tom Huffman, most recently of Mark Burnett Productions, has joined as director of unscripted development. Mr. Huffman has worked on shows such as “StarMaker” and “Bully Beatdown.”
—Deborah Ridpath has been named development producer, in charge of working on new projects and adapting formats.
—Ross Greenberg and Brian Robles have been named development associate producers. Mr. Greenberg comes from World of Wonder (“Tori &Dean”), while Mr. Robles is a veteran of TLC.
"We've got great momentum here in the States," Nick Emmerson president, Shed Media US, said in a statement. "We're soon to have five series in America on as many networks. And the addition of Burrad Marsh, Tom Huffman and the entire development team will bring even more series orders both scripted and unscripted."
In addition to “Real Housewives of New York City,” Shed Media US also produces “Supernanny” for ABC, “It’s Me or the Dog” for Animal Planet and NBC’s upcoming “Who Do You Think You Are?”
