‘Slumdog’s’ Kapoor to Join '24' Cast Next Season
“Slumdog Millionaire” actor Anil Kapoor will join the cast of Fox’s “24” for its eighth season.
Mr. Kapoor, who will be a series regular, will play a Middle Eastern leader on a peace-making mission in the U.S.
It will be the first American TV role for Mr. Kapoor, who played game show host Prem Kumar in the Oscar-winning film “Slumdog Millionaire.”
“24” is currently in its seventh season.
