Jay Leno’s new 10 p.m. show on NBC will hold back some of his signature “Tonight Show” elements until the last 15 minutes, reports Variety.
“Jaywalking” and his 99 Cent Only Store ads used to open his show but on the new strip they will close it out, he told reporters Wednesday. Affiliates requested the change, he said, hoping to keep the audience hooked so they tune in to the late newscasts which follow.
