Fox wants to bring an updated version of the 1989 feature “Heathers,” which starred Christian Slater and Winona Ryder and a clique of mean high school girls all named Heather, to TV, reports Variety.

Mark Rizzo is adapting the murder/revenge film for TV, with assistance from Jenny Bicks (“Sex and the City.”)
