Amid speculation that might be leaving the soap, Erika Slezak, the six-time Emmy-winning star of ABC’s "One Life to Live,"  has renewed her contract, Soap Central reports.

Slezak, who joined the cast of the show in 1971, used her Web site to convey the message, writing, "I am very happy to be remaining with ‘One Life to Live’ for the next few years — and am looking forward to good stories and lots of fun."
