FX’s New York City fire department drama “Rescue Me” has plans to end in 2011, the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, TV Guide reports.

"Within the next couple of weeks, we’re going to begin shooting the last 19 episodes, which will be the final two seasons of the show," said the series’ co-crator and executive producer Peter Tolan.
