Forget about cooking shows and home improvement programs — the latest trend on the rise is TV shows about growing marijuana, reports the New York Times.
On California independent station KJLA-TV, "Cannabis Planet," a 30-minute show about hemp, promotes the medical, agricultural and industrial benefits of the plant; after just two months on the air, it’s breaking even and has yet to garner a viewer complaint.
