Harvey Korman, a comic mainstay on the long-running “The Carol Burnett Show,” died Thursday in Los Angeles from complications of an aortic aneurysm suffered fourth months ago, the Associated Press reports. He was 81. Mr. Korman also appeared on “The Danny Kaye Show” and had his own unsuccessful series. His best known film role was as conniving politician Hedley LaMarr in Mel Brooks’ “Blazing Saddles.”
