Discovery’s two West Coast development heads are leaving the company "to pursue other opportunities," reports The Hollywood Reporter.

The cable company said that despite the departure of Elli Hakami, VP of series development, and Wayne Sampson, director of series development, the L.A. office will remain open.

The jobs are expected to be filled in short order, the company said.
