Former "Smallville" star Michael Rosenbaum will be one of the stars in a new live-action half-hour comedy, called "Saved by Zeroes," that is part of Syfy’s push into the genre, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

Rosenbaum created the show based on his own experiences. It’s about two friends (the other will be played by Jonathan Silverman) who have a cult following from their days acting on a sci-fi show.
