He was one of the most famous rock ‘n roll guitarists of all time, and he died far too young.

On Thursday, August 26, a two-hour documentary debuts on the Bio Channel about Jimi Hendrix, including exclusive interviews and footage from the Hendrix private archive.

The documentary is co-produced by Janie Hendrix  (Jimi’s half sister) and John McDermott, the network says.
