"Chase" and "Chuck" have received full-season pickups by NBC, while "Undercovers" has received an order for four additional scripts by the network, reports The Hollywood Reporter’s The Live Feed blog.
NBC didn’t disclose how many additional episodes of the two shows it ordered, the story notes. "Chase" is averaging 6.5 million total viewers and a 2.0 rating in the 18-to-49 year old demographic, the article says. Both "Chase" and "Chuck" are also benefit from time-shifted viewing, it adds.
Despite the pick-ups, TVbytheNumbers.com notes that "Chase" is still likely to be canceled at the end of the 2010-11 season, as well as "Undercovers." "They’ll both go before ‘Chuck,’ but I don’t think ‘Chuck’ is in much better shape," notes TVbytheNumbers.com’s Bill Gorman.
