Vampires clearly don’t suck at HBO, which saw a big turnout for Sunday night’s fourth-season premiere of “True Blood,” Multichannel News reports. The telecast equaled the series’ high-water mark with 5.4 million viewers.
The numbers were up 6% over last summer’s third-season premiere. The vampire show stars Anna Pacquin.
Another 1 million viewers showed up for the rebroadcast later that night, at 11 p.m. The show is HBO’s top-rated current series.
