A former governor has joined the lineup of Current TV as the host of a new show, reports TVNewser.com.

The show, “The War Room,” will debut in January 2012, with Jennifer Granholm, the former Democratic governor of Michigan, hosting. It will fill the 9 p.m. ET time slot after "Countdown with Keith Olbermann."

The show will be all about politics, aimed specifically at "political junkies." In a statement, Granholm said, “Democrats will love it. The far right will hate it. Those in the middle will appreciate it. I can’t wait to get started.”
