A group of protesters gathered outside the Fox News Channel’s offices in New York claiming that the network’s reporting about presumed Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has been racist, Reuters reports. The activists, led by MoveOn.org and ColorOfChange.org, had a 600,000-signature long petition objecting to the channel’s coverage, which includes instances of Obama being confused with Osama bin Laden, Michelle Obama called his “baby mama,” and reports on their “terrorist fist jab,” the news service says.
