Jimmy Fallon’s new set for NBC’s retooled "Tonight Show," which will move to New York City after Jay Leno steps down, will look like a Broadway theater, reports the New York Post.
The network is gutting a studio on the sixth floor of 30 Rockefeller Center, punching through the ceiling to create a balcony that will provide the feeling of a Broadway theater, the story notes.
It will also seat 50 more people than Leno’s 300-seat studio in Burbank, Calif.
"The Dr. Oz Show" is getting kicked out of its sixth-floor studio as a result, the piece adds. Construction will start this summer.
