Olympic beach volleyball star Misty May-Treanor will make a guest appearance on the Disney Channel’s “The Wizards of Waverly Place,” TV Guide reports. The gold medalist will portray herself on the upcoming episode taping Sept. 9. September is turning out to be a busy month for May-Treanor with an Oprah appearance scheduled to air Sept. 8 and an entry on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” premiering Sept. 22.
