The Senate Commerce Committee announced a digital-TV oversight hearing to get an update on the digital transition and lessons learned from the analog cutoff this past Monday in Wilmington, N.C., Broadcasting & Cable reports. The hearing, titled “Countdown to February 2009,” is scheduled for Sept. 23. The House of Representatives will be holding a similar hearing Sept. 16.
