CBS and CBS Paramount Network TV have signed “The Daily Show With Jon Stewart” correspondent Rob Riggle to a talent and development deal, Daily Variety reports. The network hopes to develop a half-hour series created by and starring Riggle. Riggle said he agreed to the deal because of CBS’ “commitment to comedy,” the trade paper says.
