The Screen Actors Guild has signed deals to insure the completion of 95 feature films being made by independent producers as its talks with major studios enter their second week, Daily Variety reports. At major studios, the prospect of an actors’ strike has pulled the major studios to complete shooting of features by mid-June, before the current SAG agreement expires at the end of that month.
