U.S. senators are lobbying pro football commissioner Roger Goodell for allowing more NFL games to be broadcast for free on the NFL Network, the Associated Press reports. While the network broadcasts games of teams to their home cities, many senators say the league’s definition of what constitutes a home city is too narrow, leaving too large a percentage of the country without football on TV, the wire service says.
