Gannett Broadcasting announced today three executive appointments in its TV station group, Mediaweek reports. Ken Tonning was named president and general manager of the company’s Tampa Bay, Fla., CBS affiliate WTSP-TV. Tonning previously was president and GM of WTLV-TV and WJXX-TV in Jacksonville, Fla. Dodie Cantrell-Bickley, formerly president and GM of CBS affiliate WMAZ-TV in Macon, Ga., will take over for Tonning. Anthony Diaz will move to corporate as Gannett Broadcasting’s VP of sales strategy. Diaz comes from the CBS affiliate in Washington, WUSA-TV, where he was VP/general sales manager.
