Dawn Airey has left ITV for rival RTL Group, reports Daily Variety. Airey will chair RTL’s U.K. terrestrial web Five, which she helped launch more than a decade ago. The surprise move comes as a blow to ITV Executive Chairman Michael Grade, who handpicked Airey as part of his senior team, and has ignited speculation that a bid for ITV by RTL is likely.
