As part of its recent shift in focus to free, ad-supported content, AOL Video struck a deal with MTV Networks that will see clips from MTVN content on the AOL Video portal starting later this week.
That will include short-form video from Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, VH1, CMT, Logo, The N, Spike TV, MTV2, AtomFilms and GameTrailers.
Late last month, AOL announced it would stop selling online videos in its store and would instead route traffic for purchases to Amazon.com. AOL said it wanted to focus on offering ad-supported free videos on its site.
